Under our first amendment, we have freedom of speech and religion. We can choose our own faith or none. We can change our religious preference. We can question and criticize religions. Under Islamic law, those acts entail the death penalty.
There is more, much more; not limited to cruel & unusual punishment and inequality. But I want to point out the ultimate hypocrisy of these damned Muslims and their Dhimmis. An infidel has no right to authority over Muslims! Here it is, explicitly stated in the Islamic Law of divorce in the context of child custody. A Christian, divorced by a Muslim, has no right to child custody. m3.13 [Emphasis added.]

Since Dr. Carson did not propose legislation to erect a religious test, the prohibition is not relevent. Every voter, including Dr. Carson, is entitled to use his own criterion in selecting among candidates.
