Facebook Boycott

A major spike in blog hits aroused my curiosity. My post about the October 24 '09 Facebook boycott over Koran Toilet Paper Roll has been receiving an unusual number of hits. With some research, I discovered that there is a campaign to boycott Facebook for three days beginning at Noon May 19 because of the celebration of "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day".

One event page for the boycott has 7,067 confirmed guests. I found three groups related to the Draw Muhammad Day:
Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!, with 40,319 supporters, Everybody Draw Mohammad Day - May 20th, 2010, with 4,375 supporters and
Everybody draw Muhammad with 1,080 supporters.

Even the high court in Lahore has gotten into the act, ordering isps to block Facebook for three days. Muslims can't take criticism because Islam is false & malignant, and they know it. Moe warned his followers not to carry the Qur'an into Dar ul-harb because we would use it against them. He was right about that. The internet has made translations of the Qur'an & hadith widely available. We therefore know that the Qur'an is partially composed of situational scripture.

Searching Sahih Bukhari for "was revealed" provides clarifying details about several verses. One hadith lets the cat out of the bag.

Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3453:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

We also know how Moe received his revelations: hallucinations secondary to epileptic fits.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 1, Number 2:

Narrated 'Aisha:

(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle "O Allah's Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ' off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).

Sahih Muslim Book 007, Number 2654:

Ya'la b. Umayya reported on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with them) that a person came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as he was at Ji'rana and he (the person) had been putting on a cloak which was perfumed, or he (the narrator) said: There was a trace of yellowness on it. He said (to the Holy Prophet): What do you command me to do during my Umra? (It was at this juncture) that the revelation came to the Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him) and he was covered with a cloth, and Ya'la said: Would that I see revelation coming to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him). He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: Would it please you to see the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) receiving the revelations 'Umar lifted a corner of the cloth and I looked at him and he was emitting a sound of snorting. He (the narrator) said: I thought it was the sound of a camel. When he was relieved of this he said: Where is he who asked about Umra? When the person came, the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said: Wash out the trace of yellowness, or he said: the trace of perfume and put off the cloak and do in your 'Umra what you do in your Hajj.

Perhaps most importantly, we know what motivated Moe: loot & extortion.

8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

I regret that I have no artistic ability whatsoever. I can only express my contempt for Moe's War Cult through the written word.

it's sad how people like you go out of your way to disrespect other peoples' beliefs. at least consult with someone beforehand to see if you're saying has any truth. i would highly recommend visiting the site where you can argue to your heart's content / get the background info to any of your quotes that supposedly reveal all and i hope you'll be satisfied. Also, is there any way i can attach a pdf file to my comment?

All i would say that we should be human enough to create peace and make the world a better place by not spreading false information and creating unwanted arguments because the information provided on Islam was false and very offending. Either get your facts right by doing proper research on Islam or do not write about things you don't know. A good Human being wouldn't do that.
I do think that you're scared and afraid that Muslims would take over the world one day InshAllah. But if you do learn about them, one day you'll realise that a good Muslim is a good Human being first. We can type cast anyone and everyone but its better to read the Quran for the right explanation of Islam.

I only found out about this website a week ago, and thought that is not true …Nobody with a appropriate job and good life would spend time on accusing anybody’s religion. But it turns out it is true…. Somebody once told me that religion is for stupid people and I thought it is very rude because even though if I don’t believe it I would not go around calling people stupid. But now I think, Religion does cause stupidity, regardless if you are a believer or not! Religion plays an important part in our society even today, and had always been a reason for debate, war and conspiracies. However, I would not waste my time accusing any body’s beliefs.
If we go around and start exploring all the religions and accuse people for their faith and believe, I am afraid the world would turn into a total debate room. If we really want to make this world a happier place, let’s try not to cause problems on purpose, instead we can promote humanity and love towards each other.
You can call me a crazy person but I always try to look for a positive side and a happy place, lets try to educate those people who hate Islam or any other religion because they think it is all about war. No religion promotes war, and Jihad is just a weapon that has been used by extremists against Islam. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, When/If somebody attacks your home and you have no other way to survive but to fight back, then your fight is Jihad but you should not hurt any innocent children, women or older people, only fight against those who are attacking you. There are three kinds of jihad, the one you do with your hand, the one you do in your speech and the one you do in your heart.

The people you are trying to educate have no access to face book, if you really want to help go provide them a home and peaceful life and family then nobody would listen to this false jihad stories.
