A Wad of Crap: CAIR's Pormotion of Shari'ah On March 15. 2012, Bare Naked Islam published a fund raising solicitation from CAIR. Most of the text from that post is reproduced below, including the headline (linked to the original post) and one bold red parenthetical comment from BNI.
The letter solicits money to finance CAIR's campaign to defeat proposed legislation to proscribe foreign legal systems in our courts. I have highlighted several phrases which I intend to address below.
Our strategy is working
As-salaamu alaykum (peace be to you),
Alhamdulillah (all thanks to God), we are finally seeing the tide turning.In the past week, we’ve reached a turning point in our effort to block the introduction and passage of anti-sharia laws nationwide. Since last Tuesday, five states – Minnesota, Florida, New Jersey, Georgia and Mississippi – have either withdrawn the bills or allowed them to expire.
But the fight isn’t over – the governor of South Dakota signed an anti-sharia bill into law on Monday.
Almost 40 anti- sharia bills have been introduced in 30 states. It is critical that we defeat these bills and end this well-financed campaign to demonize Islam and marginalize American Muslims.
The people and groups behind this unconstitutional campaign have the donors and resources we currently lack. They are using their resources to exploit and promote ignorance, fear and religious hatred. Laws don’t just go away. If these bills are passed into law, they will affect your children, your grandchildren and their grandchildren.
I ask that you provide us with the resources needed to prevent these unconstitutional bills from becoming the law of the land.
CAIR can’t do it alone. We need your help.

effort to block introduction
Democratic systems of government involve legislation introduced, debated and voted on by members of an elected legislature. If bills are not introduced, they can not be debated and voted up or down. By uttering & publishing the phrase which serves as the header for this paragraph, CAIR admits that it stands opposed to democratic self government, preferring theocratic authoritarianism.
Effort to prevent legislation from being introduced implies a campaign of intimidation & threat against legislators. What could be more anti-democratic? Efforts to defeat legislation are legitimate; efforts to prevent it from being introduced are not.
anti-sharia laws
The statutes proposed in Florida and Michigan do not mention Shari'ah. They proscribe foreign legal systems to the extent that those abridge the Constitutional rights of litigants. By asserting that such laws are anti-Shari'ah, CAIR admits the fact that Shari'ah conflicts with the rights, privileges & immunities afforded to citizens as secured by the Constitution. If Shari'ah did not abrogate Constitutional rights, there would be no issue to dispute.
campaign
While several organizations and individuals are speaking out about the threat posed by Shari'ah, and promoting state and federal legislation to exclude it from our courts, I do not see any evidence of a unified or well financed campaign.
well-financed
How much money is involved, and what is its source? How is it being spent? Are there numerous billboards, radio and television advertising or full page newspaper & magazine advertisements? Does the campaign involve paid professional lobbyists?
demonize Islam
Islam can only be demonic if its deity is a demon, in which case it is demonic and its critics are merely exposing that fact to public scrutiny. Islam's deity is depicted by its founder, in Malik's Muwatta 46.1.2 as creating people "for the fire".
"I created these for the Fire and they will act with the behaviour of the people of the Fire."
In the Noble Qur'an, Surah Al-Anfal 67, Allah demands "great slaughter" as Moe's price of admission to his celestial bordello.
It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land.
Allah arbitrarily created a group of people predestined for eternal damnation and demands genocide as the price of admission to his celestial bordello. If that is not demonic, what would be?
marginalize American Muslims
Are Catholics marginalized by excluding their cannon law from our courts? Are Jews marginalized by excluding theirs? It seems that Muslims need to choose between America and Islam because the two are incompatible.
donors and resources
The implication is that the anti-Shari'ah campaign is well financed by wealthy interests with unlimited funds. Where is the evidence of that? CAIR asserts that they do not have wealthy donors and resources; did the Saudi Princes who provided their original funding withdrawn their support, leaving CAIR to fend for itself?
The sentence from which the previous four headings were taken implies that there is something wrong with having donors & resources; in a letter soliciting funds. The hypocrisy is palpable.
ignorance
Exactly how do those "well financed" campaigners exploit and promote ignorance? How does publishing a book about Shari'ah (Shariah The Threat to America) exploit and promote ignorance? How does publishing a well documented report about fifty trial & appellate cases arising in the last three decades exploit and promote ignorance? Do blog posts quoting and linking to codifications of Shari'ah also exploit and promote ignorance?
fear
The founders of this nation observed and experienced tyranny and resolved that their posterity should be free from it if possible. In modern times we observe amputations, decapitations and hangings in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Iran. We do not want that here. We experienced horrific terrorist attacks and observe others almost daily.
CAIR and other liars would have us believe that fear of Islam is vain. But Moe deliberately cultivated a reputation for barbarian rapine. I direct doubters & dissenters to
Noble Qur'an, Surah Al-Hashr 13. Click the link and read the context, then turn to
Surah Al-Anfal 57 if any doubt remains.
59:13. Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).
Moe attributed his military success to terror inflicted on his victims.
Brig. S.K. Malik wrote a strategic training manual for the army of Pakistan. It was not meant for our eyes. This quote comes from page 59 of The Qur'anic Concept of War.
Terror struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only
a means, it is the end in itself. Once a condition of terror into
the opponent's heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be
achieved. It is the point where the means and the end meet
and merge. Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon
the enemy; it is me decision we wish to impose upon him.
We have nothing to fear but fear itself; yeah, right.

For prime examples of religious hatred, see the Qur'an. Muslims recite Surah Al-Fatihah at least twice in each of the five compulsory prayers. When they recite it, they are reminding Allah why he wants to burn us.

1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of
those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of
those who went astray (such as the Christians).
Allah, Moe and the Muslims curse us and call us the worst of living creatures.

those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur'ân and Prophet Muhammad ()) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell.
They are the worst of creatures.

How does Shari'ah square with the 8th Amendment? Reliance of the Traveller has a clue for you. If you quit Islam, they kill you. How does that square with the first Amdt?

When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.
O8.2
In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representive) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.
014.0 THE PENALTY FOR THEFT
014.1 A person's right hand is amputated.
whether he is a Muslim, non-Muslim subject of the
Islamic state, or someone who has left Islam,
when he:
(a) has reached puberty;
(b) is sane;
(c) is acting voluntarily;
(d) and steals at least a quarter of a dinar (n:
1.058 grams of gold) or goods worth that much (A:
at the market prices current) at the time of the
theft;
(e) from a place meeting the security
requirements normal (A: in that locality and time)
for safeguarding similar articles (def: 014.3);
(f) provided there is no possible confusion
(dis: 014.2(3» as to whether he took it by way of
theft or for some other reason.
If a person steals a second time, his left foot is
amputated; if a third time, then his left hand; and
if he steals again, then his right foot. If he steals a
fifth time, he is disciplined (def: 017). If he does
not have a right hand (N: at the first offense), then
his left foot is amputated. If he has a right hand but
loses it after the theft (0: by an act of God) but
before he has been punished for it, then nothing is
amputated. After amputation, the limb is
eauterized with hot oil (A: which in previous times
was the means to stop the bleeding and save the
criminal's life).

How does Shari'ah square with Article VI?
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.
Judges and governors must be Muslim!

he must be Muslim, upright (def: 024.4), sane, and

The indemnity for the death or injury of a woman is one-half the indemnity paid for a man. The indemnity paid for a Jew or Christian is one-third of the indemnity paid for a Muslim. The indemnity paid for a Zoroastrian is one-fifteenth of that of a Muslim. testimony

witness who:
(a) is free;
(b) is fully legally responsible (mukallaf, def:
c8.1) (0: as testimony is not accepted from a child

is religious (0: meaning upright (024.4) (A: and Muslim), for Allah Most High says, "Let those of rectitude among you testify" (Koran 65:2), and unbelief is the vilest form of corruption, as goes without saying); 024.7 The testimony of the following is legally
acceptable
when it concerns cases involving property, or transactions dealing with property, such as sales: (1)
two men; (2)
two women and a man; (3) or a male witness together with the oath
of the plaintiff.

If testimony does not concern propcrty, such as a marriage or prescribed legal penalties, then only two male witnesses may testify (A:
though the Hanafi school holds that two women
and a man may testify for marriage).
024.9
If testimony concerns fornication or sodomy, then it requires four male witnesses (0: who testify, in the case of fornication, that they have seen the offender insert the head of his penis into ber vagina).
Exactly what is unconstitutional about excluding that unconstitutional crap from our courts???

Reliance set the standard, and is accepted as authentic and accurate by sheikhs of Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
