U.N:Freedom Of Religion~Terror In Sharia!
In the previous installment, you discovered the meaning of terror as it
applies to Islam. U.N:Freedom Of Religion~Terrorism Defined. In this
final installment of the series on U.N. Ass Wholliness,
you will see that, besides the Islamic terror nexus previously
documented:
Islamic law confirms what we already know: terrorism is intrinsic to
Islam! Terror is associated with Islam by Islamic scripture,
exegesis, oral tradition , biography and law.
In "Defense Of The Muslim Lands, Abdullah Azzam
discusses fard al-kifaya and fard ayn. In that discussion, he quotes a
Jurist of the Hanafi school of Islamic law as ruling that at least lne
mission must be sent out in every year to terrorize infidels.

I do not find an explicit call for terrorism in
"Reliance Of The Traveller", but two quotes declare terrorizing
or frightening a Believer (Muslim) to be an impermissible enormity. No
mention of doing it to an infidel! That means it is permissible
to terrorize an infidel who is not under a treaty of protection.

r28.1 (Nahlawi:) To make a believer fear other
than disobedience or coerce him to do something
he is averse to, such as giving a gift, marrying, or
selling something-all this is hurting him, and
hurting a believer is unlawful. The Prophet (Allah
bless him and give him peace) said,
"Whoever frightens a believer, it is incumbent
that Allah not protect him from the terrors of
Judgement Day as a fitting recompense."
Najm al-Ghazzi says in Husn al-tanabbuh,
"Among the works of the Devil is frightening,
annoying, or alarming a believer, all of which is
unlawful" (ibid., 157-58).
A Summary Of Islamic Jurisprudence has a juicy
tidbit: property abandoned by terrorized infidels is fei!
Reliance is not the only handbook of Shari'ah. The
Maliki's Risala does not mention terror but the Hanafi's Hedaya does,
twice. Recall that, in 8:60, horses are kept to terrify the enemies,
known and unknown. This comes up in a discussion of distribution
of spoils: the horseman gets a double share, one for him and one for
his steed.
The first Excerpt, from the top of the page,
reveals the purpose of keeping horses and sending infantry. The second,
from the bottom of the page, reveals that it is the going out on an
expedition that "impresses terror upon the infidels".
Big deal, right? So horses are kept to terrorize
infidels and going out to attack does it. But wait! There is
more! UncleVladdi, of http://unclevladdi.blogspot.com/
wised me up to a
page I had overlooked. On page 154 and subsequent pages there is a
discussion of granting letters of protection. Such letters are valid
only if issued by a believing Muslim who is free to engage in Jihad.
That is because the object of fear is the source of protection
and every Muslim must be an object of fear to infidels because he is
liable to attack.
No, damn it! I did not make this up and I did not
edit it. I only added some arrows to the excerpt to point out the
critical clauses. Hedaya is poorly scanned an in an archaic font, with
archaic and arcane vocabulary & syntax. It ain't easy
reading. I provide a link so you can verify it.
This is part of the code that governed the Ottoman

Pickthall & Sher Ali use "strike fear" two
lesser known
translators use "strike terror" . The Arabic word means to
disperse: to scatter the prospective victims by the example of the
defeated people. Moe was building a reputation for barbarian rapine to
intimidate his intended victims.
The Mariful Qur'an includes commentary
that makes the matter clear: the intent is to terrorize others not yet
attacked.
Surah Al-Imran 3.151 contains a
promise which sanctifies terrorism. Surah al-Ahzab 33.26 connects casting terror with
victory.
Brownie Points
Surah At-Taubah 9.120 promises
extra good deed credit for acts intended to injure or enrage us. On the
last day, Alah wil weigh each Muslim's sins against his good deeds. The
swing of the balance determines where he will spend eternity and how
high or how deep he will go. Bonus points could get him extra
Christian sex slaves taken from the fire.
Shari'ah
"Reliance Of The Traveller" O9.1 describes the
communal and individual
obligations to perform Jihad in every year. The Book Of Jilad
will clarify it for you.
Jihad is a communal obligation
(def: c3.2).When enough people
perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory
upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet's saying (Allah
bless him and give him peace),
"He who provides the equipment for
a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,"
and Allah Most High having said:
"Those of the believers who are
unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah's path
with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with
their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And
to each, Allah has promised great good" (Koran 4:95).
If none of those concerned perform
jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that
it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having
performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him
peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to
Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in
respect to non-Muslims.
The first is when they are in
their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal
obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says,
"Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year.
The second state is when
non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad
is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that
country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).
The caliph makes war, provided he has first issued the invitation to
Islam. This is proof of the offensive nature of Jihad.
O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
The
caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he
has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if
they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by
paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which
is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while
remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war
continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax
(O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
"Fight those who do not believe
in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His
messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth,
being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax
out of hand and are humbled" (Koran 9.29),
the time and place for which is
before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace).After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted
from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus'
descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely
revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a
separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of
Muhammad. As for the Prophet's saying (Allah bless him and give him
peace),
"I am the last, there will be no
prophet after me,"
this does not contradict the final
coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according
to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and
give him peace) ).
The Book Of Jihad has Al-Shafi'i
in a more comprehensible format. Read it and curse Islam!!
Hedaya is the fiqh of the Hanafi madhab;
compare it to the Shafi'i school above. The requirement of
perpetual war is on page 140 of the second volume. Permission to attack
infidels without provocation is on page 141. Page 212 gives
us important details about Jizya, which is a punishment for not being
Muslim and a payment in lieu of destruction. Page 216 tells
us that disbelief is an evil which must be removed from the world by
death or Islam. Who can get a clue? Can you??

then you shall be one of the losers.
5:17. Surely,
in disbelief are they who say that Allâh is the Messiah, son of Maryam
(Mary) . Say (O Muhammad ): "Who then has the least
power against Allâh, if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Maryam
(Mary), his mother, and all those who are on the earth together?" And
to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all
that is between them. He creates what He wills. And
Allâh is Able to do all things.
5:72. Surely,
they have disbelieved who say: "Allâh is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)],
son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O
Children of Israel! Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily,
whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allâh, then Allâh has
forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode
. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and
wrongdoers) there are no helpers.
5:73. Surely,
disbelievers are those who said: "Allâh is the third of the three (in a
Trinity)." But there is no ilâh (god) (none who
has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilâh (God
-Allâh). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a
painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.
4:157. And because of
their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of
Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor
crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over
another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein
are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they
follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not
[i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]:.
5:14.
And from those who call themselves Christians, We took their
covenant, but they have abandoned a good part of the Message that was
sent to them. So We planted amongst them enmity and hatred till the Day
of Resurrection (when they discarded Allâh's Book, disobeyed Allâh's
Messengers and His Orders and transgressed beyond bounds in Allâh's
disobedience), and Allâh will inform them of what they used to
do.
3:61. Then whoever
disputes with you concerning him ['Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this)
knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of
Allâh, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad )
"Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women,
ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the
Curse of Allâh upon those who lie."
Al-'Aqib and
Saiyid, the rulers of Najran, came to Allah's Apostle with the
intention of doing Lian one of them said to the other, "Do not do (this
Lian) for, by Allah, if he is a Prophet and we do this Lian, neither
we, nor our offspring after us will be successful." Then both of them
said (to the Prophet ), "We will give what you should ask but you
should send a trustworthy man with us, and do not send any person with
us but an honest one." The Prophet said, "I will send an honest man who
Is really trustworthy." Then every one of the companions of Allah's
Apostle wished to be that one. Then the Prophet said, "Get up, O Abu
'Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah." When he got up, Allah's Apostle said, "This is
the Trustworthy man of this (Muslim) nation."
9:30. And the
Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say:
Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They
imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh's Curse be on
them, how they are deluded away from the truth!
9:74. They swear by
Allâh that they said nothing (bad), but really they said the word of
disbelief, and they disbelieved after accepting Islâm, and they
resolved that (plot to murder Prophet Muhammad ) which they
were unable to carry out, and they could not find any cause to do so
except that Allâh and His Messenger had enriched them of His Bounty. If
then they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away,
Allâh will punish them with a painful torment in this worldly life and
in the Hereafter. And there is none for them on earth as a Walî
(supporter, protector) or a helper.
9:14. Fight against
them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and
give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing
people,
9:29. Fight against
those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor
forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and
those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the
people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyahwith willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Allah's
Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say:
'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so,

then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not
interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with
Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu
Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He
replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but
Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our
slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights
and obligations as other Muslims have."
Allah 's
Apostle said, " I have been ordered to fight with the people till they
say, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,' and whoever says,
'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,' his life and
property will be saved by me except for Islamic law, and
his accounts will be with Allah, (either to punish him or to forgive
him.)"
Sahih Bukhari
Volume 9, Book 92, Number 388:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
When Allah's Apostle died and Abu Bakr was elected as a Caliph after
him, some of the Arabs reverted to disbelief, 'Umar said to Abu Bakr,
"How dare you fight the people while Allah's Apostle said, I have been ordered to fight the
people till they say 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah'
And whoever
says: None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' saves his wealth
and his life from me unless he deserves a legal punishment
lusty, and his account will be with Allah! Abu Bakr said,
"By Allah, I will fight him who discriminates between Zakat and
prayers, for Zakat is the Compulsory right to be taken from the wealth
By Allah, if they refuse to give me even a tying rope which they use to
give to Allah's Apostle, I would fight them for withholding it." 'Umar
said, 'By Allah, It was nothing, except I saw that Allah had opened the
chest of Abu Bakr to the fight, and I came to know for certain that was
the truth."
8:39. And fight them
until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and
polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion
(worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then
certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
The
caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim (O: because
they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are not
permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n: though
according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions, even
idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of the
Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll
tax, the sole exceptions to which are apostates from Islam and idol
worshippers who are Arabs, neither of whom has any choice but becoming
Muslim (al-Hidaya sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi' (y21), 6.48-49) ).
Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4294:
It has been reported from Sulaiman b.
Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace
be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he
would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims
who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the
way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy
war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not
mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet
your enemies who are polytheists invite them to three courses of
action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and
withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them
to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and
desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from
their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so,
they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If
they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of
Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like
other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war
or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the
disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the
Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your
hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight
them...
O9.6
It
is offensive to conduct a military expedition against hostile
non-Muslims without the caliph's permission (A: though if
there is no caliph (def: o25), no permission is required).
Note however, that
Islam considers disbelief to be waging war against Allah, so all
Jihad can be considered defensive in their demon
possessed minds.
47:4. So, when you meet (in
fight Jihâd in Allâh's Cause), those who
disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded
many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as
captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free
them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm),
until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to
continue in carrying out Jihâd against the
disbelievers till they embrace Islâm (i.e. are saved from the
punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection],
but if it had been Allâh's Will, He Himself could certainly have
punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test
you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, He
will never let their deeds be lost,
4:3.
And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly
with the orphangirls, then marry (other) women of your choice, two or
three, or four but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal
justly (with them), then only one or (the captives and the slaves) that
your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing
injustice.
4:24. Also (forbidden
are) women already married, except those (captives and slaves) whom
your right hands possess. Thus has Allâh ordained for
you. All others are lawful, provided you seek (them in
marriage) with Mahr (bridal money given by the
husband to his wife at the time of marriage) from your property,
desiring chastity, not committing illegal sexual intercourse, so with
those of whom you have enjoyed sexual relations, give them their Mahr
as prescribed; but if after a Mahr is
prescribed, you agree mutually (to give more), there is no sin on
you. Surely, Allâh is Ever AllKnowing, AllWis
33:50. O Prophet
(Muhammad )! Verily, We have made lawful to you your wives, to
whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal money given
by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), and those
(captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses - whom Allâh has
given to you, and the daughters of your 'Amm
(paternal uncles) and the daughters of your 'Ammah
(paternal aunts) and the daughters of your Khâl
(maternal uncles) and the daughters of your Khâlah
(maternal aunts) who migrated (from Makkah) with you, and a believing
woman if she offers herself to the Prophet, and the Prophet wishes to
marry her; a privilege for you only, not for the (rest of) the
believers. Indeed We know what We have enjoined upon them about their
wives and those (captives or slaves) whom their right hands possess, -
in order that there should be no difficulty on you. And Allâh is Ever
OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
3:28. Let not the believers
take the disbelievers as Auliyâ (supporters,
helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will
never be helped by Allâh in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger
from them. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His Punishment), and to
Allâh is the final return.
60:4. Indeed there has been
an excellent example for you in Ibrâhim (Abraham) and those with him,
when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and
whatever you worship besides Allâh, we have rejected you, and there has
started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you
believe in Allâh Alone," except the saying of Ibrâhim (Abraham) to his
father: "Verily, I will ask for forgiveness (from Allâh) for you, but I
have no power to do anything for you before Allâh ." Our Lord! In You
(Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and
to You (Alone) is (our) final Return,
33:21.

Allâh and the Last Day and remembers Allâh much.

The Noble Qur'an, translated by Hilali & Khan, is reputed to be 95% accurate and contains parenthetical expressions from tafsirs and the translator's footnotes. Several Surahs are essential to understanding the malignantly militant nature of Islam: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 33, 47, 48, 49 & 61. You can select them from a pick list at the top of the page. Hadith are sayings of Muhammad, passed down from mouth to ear by his companions. They have been collected by several scholars, the most widely accepted collection being that of Bukhari. Like the Qur'an, hadith collections suffer from redundancy. Begin with Books 52, 53 & 59, then read the others if you have sufficient patience. Tafsir are scholarly explanations of the Qur'an. They use parallel verses and relevant ahadith to clarify the verses. Tafsir Ibn Kathir is fairly complete and easily accessible. You can select the Surahs listed above and read them instead of the Qur'an & hadith to save time and effort. Islamic biography and history are also important, but less easily accessible than the Qur'an, hadith and tafsir. Craig Winn compiled selections of the canon into a 1000 page book with the quotes compiled into handy appendices "The Prophet of Doom". For those lacking the time, patience and ambition to tackle the large tomes, there is a short book which encapsulates the most essential information: Suhas Majumdar's "Jihad: The Islamic Doctrine of Permanent War". Pamela Geller raises the issue of Shari'ah: Islamic law based on the Qur'an & hadith. Much of it is arcane, dealing with matters of prayer & ritual purity. The really important parts deal with "justice", marriage & divorce. It will be easier for you go go to Amazon and buy a hard copy of Reliance of the Traveller. If you can tolerate a low resolution scan and large, pdf, this link will get you into Chapter 9 of Book O; "Justice".You can scroll up to Books N & M. If you delve deeply into Reliance, you will discover that divorce is affected by the husband's thrice repeating "I divorce you". You will discover that a father can force his virgin, pre-pubescent daughter to marry the man of his choice. You will learn that a Christian woman married to a Muslim can not obtain child custody in divorce.
I want you to see a video which discloses some of the suffering of Copts in Egypt. Copts are are indigenous Christians who suffer great injustice under Islamic domination.

It gives us a window into the persecution of Christians conquered by Islam. who are persecuted for attempting to build churches and worship. You will see one story about 32 Christians arrested for meeting in a house to pray.

To fully comprehend what is happening in Egypt, you need to know that Muslims consider their system and themselves superior to all others. Non-Muslims are to be humiliated and punished for not being Muslim. This sample of Surah Al-Imran will help you to understand. [Emphasis added.]
3:110. You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh's Command).
3:111. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will not be helped.
3:112. Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh's disobedience, crimes and sins).
3:110 identifies the subject, 3:111 assures Muslims of an easy victory; 3:112 tells us that people of the scriptures are covered with indignity and destruction. One hadith clarifies this matter better than any other.
Moe's arrogance comes through loud and clear; Muslims share that arrogance as part of emulating their Profit. Islamic law sets the seal on the issue. The following quotes are from Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9. Turn to page 507 of the pdf file to verify these quotes. I post this because I want you to see just how tolerant Islam is; there is a need to know. If you don't know about this, you can not detect the lies spewed by Muslims and our elected traitors.
o11.0 NON·MUSLIM SUBJECTS OF THE
ISLAMIC STATE (AHL AL-DHIMMA)
o11.1 A formal agreement of protection is made
with citizens who are:
(1) Jews'
(2) Christians;
(3) Zoroastrians;
(4) Samaritans and Sabians, if their religions do not
respectively contradict the fundamental bases of Judaism and Christianity;
(5) and those who adhere to the religion of Abraham
or one of the other prophets (upon whom be blessings and peace).
011.2 Such an agreement may not be effected
with those who are idol worshippers (dis: o9.9(n:»,
or those who do not have a Sacred Book
or something that could have been a Book.
(A: Something that could have been a Book
refers to those like the Zoroastrians, who have
remnants resembling an ancient Book. As for the
psuedoscriptures of cults that have appeared since
Islam (n: such as the Sikhs, Baha'is, Mormons,
Qadianis, etc.), they neither are nor could be a
Book, since the Koran is the final revelation (dis: w4).)
011.3 Such an agreement is only valid when the
subject peoples:
(a) follow the rules of Islam (A: those mentioned
below (011.5) and those involving public behavior and dress,
though in acts of worship and their private lives, the subject
communities have their own laws, judges, and courts,
enforcing the rules of their own religion among themselves);
(b) and pay the non-Muslim poll tax Jizya).
Notice that there is a "treaty of protection", for which refer back to 3:112, quoted above. This treaty is only imposed upon people who have been conquered or intimidated so that they surrender to Muslims who attacked them. [9:29]
Notice that idol worshipers, Sikhs, Baha'is & Mormons who are specifically excluded, must be fought until they are dead or Muslim [o9.9].
THE NON-MUSLIM POLL TAX
011.4 The minimum non-Muslim poll tax is one
dinar (n: 4.235 grams of gold) per person (A: per
year). The maximum is whatever both sides agree
upon. It is collected with leniency and politeness, as
are all debts, and is not levied on women, children.

o11.5 Such non-Muslim subjects are obliged to comply with Islamic rules
that pertain to the safety and indemnity of life, reputation, and property.
In addition, they:
(1) are penalized for committing adultery or theft, though not for drunkenness;
(2) are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
(3) are not greeted with "as-Salamu 'alaykum" ;
(4) must keep to the side of the street;
(5) may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings, though if they
acquire a tall house, it is not razed;
(6) are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display
of their funerals and feast days;
(7) and are forbidden to build new churches.
o11.6 They are forbidden to reside in the Hijaz, meaning the area and
towns around Mecca, Medina, and Yamama, for more than three days
(when the caliph allows them to enter there for something they need).
`I added emphasis to a few important items in that list to make them stand out. Reexamine #4 in the light of this quote: "when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it." from Sahih Muslim 26.5389.
The sixth item in that list prohibits ringing church bells, displaying crosses, reading the scripture aloud and public funeral processions. The seventh item proscribes church construction. Did someone mention freedom of religion? Why can't Copts build churches?
O11.10 lists acts which violate the treaty of protection. Pay close attention to these.
011. IO The agreement is also violated (A: with
respect to the offender alone) if the state has stipu-
lated that any of the following things break it, and
one of the suhjects does so anyway. though if the
state has not stipulated that these break the agree-
ment, then they do not; namely, if one of the subject
people:
(1) commits adultery with a Muslim woman or marries her:
(2) conceals spies of hostile forces;
(3) leads a Muslim away from Islam;
(4) kills a Muslim;
(5) or mentions something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet
(Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam.
011.11 When a subject's agreement with the state
has been violated, the caliph chooses between the
four alternatives mentioned above in connection
with prisoners of war (09.14).
If you, as a dhimmi, make the mistake of marrying a Muslim woman or criticizing Islam, what happens to you under Shari'ah?
09.14 When an adult male is taken captive, the
caliph (def: 025) considers the interests (0: of
Islam and the Muslims) and decides between
the prisoner's death, slavery, release without
paying anything, or ransoming himself in
exchange for money or for a Muslim captive
held by the enemy.
If the prisoner becomes a Muslim (0: before
the caliph chooses any of the four alternatives)
then he may not be killed, and one of the other
three alternatives is chosen.
As a violator of the treaty of protection, you can be killed or enslaved. Why the reference to disposition of prisoners of war? You become a dhimmi as a result of conquest or intimidation. You are a prisoner of war. Why the provision for adult males; what happens to women and children?
09.13 When a child or a woman is taken captive,
they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the
woman's previous marriage is immediately annulled.
Got a clue yet? Are you ready for building "bridges of understanding?" Do you want America to be "Shari'ah compliant"? How are you going to understand Islam without exploring its canon of scripture, tradition, exegesis & jurisprudence? Can you trust what any Muslim tells you? Can you trust what any politician tells you? Can you trust what the talking heads tell you?
Islamic law covers every facet of human life, from conception to burial. Much of it, such as the rituals and requirements of wudu & salat are arcane & esoteric, downright silly if not obscene. The parts I showed you, about religious liberty and war, are more directly related to our lives. There are others, such as marriage, divorce and genital mutilation. But I wish to leave you with something more important; more directly linked to the privileges & immunities of American citizens. As a Christian, you can not testify in court; as a female, your testimony has half the weight of a male's.
o24.2 Legal testimony is only acceptable from a witness who:
(a) is free;
(b) is fully legally responsible (mukallaf, def: c8.1) (0: as
testimony is not accepted from a child or insane person,
even when the child's testimony regards injuries among
children that occurred at play);
(e) is able to speak;
(d) is mentally awake;
(e) is religious (0: meaning upright (024.4)
(A: and Muslim), for Allah Most High says,
"Let those of rectitude among you testify" (Koran 65:2),
and unbelief is the vilest form of corruption, as goes without saying);
o24.7 The testimony of the following is legally acceptable
when it concerns cases involving property,
or transactions dealing with property, such as sales:
(1) two men;
(2) two women and a man;
(3) or a male witness together with the oath of the plaintiff.
024.8 If testimony does not concern property, such as a
marriage or prescribed legal penalties,
then only two male witnesses may testify (A: though the
Hanafi school holds that two women and a man may testify for marriage). [Emphasis added.]
